Curl Footprints in The Sands of Time

Dedicated to my father

 Howard E. Curl

I am Howard W. Curl, a descendent of Joseph Curl and Sarah Stratton.  A little over forty years ago, my father, Howard E. Curl recorded his genealogy research on his branch of the Curl family in "Some Curl Footprints in the Sands of Time."  In the introduction he stated

"Before my time runs out I hope to have this material collected, organized, published and bound in permanent form so that the oncoming generations can easily follow their

"CURL FOOTPRINTS IN THE SANDS OF TIME" "

Although his death in 1963 prevented him from seeing his goal fulfilled, his wife and his longtime friend LaRaine Owen collected and organized his work which, although not bound, has been made available to Curl genealogists through the LDS and other genealogy libraries.

In the year of the 40th anniversary of his death, I have taken up the task of extending my fathers work, beyond the Joseph Curle line, to encompass all Curl ancestors and family lines.
